YAY OKAY SO
(there are two photos with me, both have people not ready, and the one photo i took (the one w hilary) is the only nice one and thats why i dont like letting other people bother taking photos for me lmao)
So in the AM Wendy came with me to watch Sherlock Gnomes and we had a great time I'm so glad she enjoyed herself.
And the night before I was getting really insecure about how people were going to react to the bbq, esp since it was a table top bbq and not a pit.
So after the movie, Hilary met us and we went grocery shopping for everything for that night, and when we arrived we chilled out for a bit. (Well..they did. I cleaned the house and set up everything outside.)
The girls went to get drinks and I made tomato based and cream based pastabake and got the fire started.
Slowly everyone started coming round and it got happening and I'm so happy (and relieved) to say that the bbq was a success!
Everyone ate, everyone was talking to one another, the food was cooked well and we didn't get noise complaints 😌
There was an annoying guard that was like "u can't have a bbq on ur patio, we have pits" but we were like "no ur pits r expensive but OK we won't continue" but lmao it us of course we continued. We didn't add any more charcoal though, just cooked everything with the fire and heat we had. Even after the fire died out, the charcoal continued to burn so ye, is all good.
